Biography
Dr. Charles Cook moved to the HEB area in 1982 after completing medical school and residency in family medicine. He has been married for over 30 years and has 4 children and one grandson.
Dr. Cook is a FAA Senior Aviation Examiner. He has special training in aviation medicine and performs pilot medical exams. Dr. Cook is a BioTe certified practitioner.
Dr. Cook donates his time at the GRACE clinic in Grapevine and was the volunteer of the year for 2012. Dr. Cook has made several medical mission trips to Mexico and Panama to provide medical care for the medically under-served.
Dr. Cook enjoys teaching medical students and is an associate professor of Family Medicine at UNT/TCOM in Fort Worth and the University of Texas at Galveston Medical School. He averages 6 medical students a year.
Dr. Cook has been in practice for over 30 years and continues to grow his practice. Many patients that he cared for as children in his early years, now bring their children to Bedford Family Medicine.
Dr. Cook focuses on emphasizing the “Family” in Family Medicine.
